Harris County MUD 383 would like to update residents regarding the status of the garbage collection service in the District. Trash collection service will resume Thursday, February 18th with recycling collection resuming on Saturday, February 20th.
A message from Residential Recycling & Refuse of Texas:
As of Wednesday, February 17th, we continue to monitor the roads and all routes remain suspended until it is safe enough for our crews to get out on the roads.
The following contingency plans are still in place:
- For all customers that have twice per week trash services and/or once per week recycling services, you will be picked up on your next scheduled service day.
- For all customers that have once per week trash services and/or twice per month recycling services, we will begin picking up our routes in order by oldest missed service day as soon as the road conditions allow us do so safely. There is a possibility that your services may be delayed by as much as 3 days. We will do everything we can to provide you with services as soon as possible.
We are monitoring the weather and will update our website and phone message as it develops.
