URGENT NOTICE: Mandatory Water Conservation

VOLUNTARY WATER RESTRICTIONS IN PLACE

Stage 1 of the district's drought contingency plan has been triggered. Please limit irrigation and lawn watering to the times indicated below.

  • Outdoor watering by sprinklers only between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m.
  • limit non-essential water uses
  • check for leaks; and
  • make sprinkler adjustments as needed to avoid watering sidewalks, driveways, and roadways

The North Harris County Regional Water Authority has not yet repaired the 48” main line, but they have a work-around that is currently providing us with about 2/3 of our normal water supply. Effective immediately, both MUD 383 and 367 are switching to Stage 2 of the Drought Contingency Plan. Please see details below

A Mandatory Water Conservation Notice has been issued for Harris County MUD 383.

Today the North Harris County Regional Water Authority had a break in a 48” main line, and we are not currently receiving water from them. They anticipate it will not be repaired until sometime next week.

Effective immediately we are in Stage 3 Drought Contingency. Please see the details below. This is very serious.

We do not have the capacity to supply enough water to our community from just our 2 wells. Please turn off all sprinklers until further notice.

Ensure that you have the most recent information as it relates to Harris County MUD 383 by signing up for the District Alert System, and receive communication through text and email updates.
